Blake Lively showcased her compassionate side during the U.K. gala screening of "It Ends with Us" on Thursday, August 8. The 36-year-old actress shared her coat with a young fan, who was visibly moved by the gesture at the event. Wearing a Tamara Ralph Couture gown, Lively was photographed draping her red-feathered coat over the girl on the red carpet, eliciting a shocked and emotional reaction from the fan.

The "Gossip Girl" star shared a radiant smile as she posed with the girl and two other fans against a floral backdrop featuring the movie's title in London's Leicester Square.

Lively also handed out screening passes to her supporters, holding several tickets while her hands sparkled with jewelry from Lorraine Schwartz. The fans were seen holding these passes as they took photos on the red carpet.

In the film adaptation of Colleen Hoover's 2016 novel, Lively plays Lily Bloom, a character who moves to a new city and falls in love with a man named Ryle after college, only to have her life complicated by the return of an ex-lover. "Lily resonated with so many people, as the success of the book clearly demonstrated," Lively expressed. "Playing a character with such profound influence is a privilege. I love Lily and hope that those familiar with her and newcomers alike can feel that love through my portrayal."
